Sony Xperia Z smartphone launched in India

Sony Mobiles today announced the launch of its latest, Sony Xperia Z smartphone in theIndian subcontinent which packs in a full-HD 5-inch display with OptiContrast Technology. The Sony Xperia Z is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor coupled with2 GB RAM and smartphone arrives with capability to expand it up to 64 GB. The Sony Xperia Z arrives with Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP55 and IP57 which makes the smartphone dust and water resistant. The smartphone has a 13 MP AutoFocus camera with LED Flash on the back of the Xperia Z with Exmor RS sensor and a 2 MP front facing camerafor video chats. Sony India confirms March 6 launch date for Xperia Z

In line with what we reported last month, it's now confirmed that Sony will be making a major announcement related to its flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z, on 6 March 2013. The company has updated its Facebook cover picture teasing the Xperia Z with the 06/03/13 date in bold and an 'Everything is about to change' tagline. A Sony spokesperson also confirmed that the phone is indeed launching on 6 March. At the time of writing this post, the page also posted another picture that with a hazy side profile image of the phone along with a '2 Days to go' teaser text. The update links to a page which has a countdown timer and the Twitter hashtag #bestofSony. Sony C680X with 1080p display and Android 4.2 le@ks

S ony is really turning it on this year. After two blockbuster launches at CES 2013, the company has set its sight on mid-range and low-end announcements at the Mobile World Congress later this month. However, that’s not all that Sony is preparing. Leaked results from the HTML5 Test website have revealed yet another high-end device coming from Sony’s stable. The results, which were published on XperiaBlog, show a Sony handset C680X (C6802) that is running Android 4.2 and has a 1920 x 1080 resolution display. The model number suggests that this phone slots higher than the already high-end Xperia Z, which has the model number C660X). The display resolution also suggests that this is likely a flagship going through very-early testing before H2 2013 launch. Sony Xperia Z starts retailing in Japan, March India debut likely

S ony had announced its latest flagship smartphones Sony Xpera Z and Xperia ZL at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013. At the time of launch, Sony had indicated that these devices will be making its way to the market soon and as per report on Xperia Blog, Sony Xperia Z (SO-02E) is already available in Japan for 80,430 Yen sans contract. The device is available through the operator NTT DoCoMo. Xperia Blog also indicates that the smartphone is selling like hot cakes and only the ones who had pre-booked it may manage to get it on Monday. The others will have to wait a bit to get their hands on Sony Xperia Z. If reports in GSM Arena are to be believed then this smartphone should be available in Europe by the end of February. There are rumours doing the rounds this smartphone will cost 529 pounds without contract. Sony C650X ‘Odin’ which is expected to pack in similar specs as that of Yuga released as the “Sony Xperia X”

L ast week, we heard that Sony’s much rumored and leaked, Sony Yuga could officially launch as the Sony Xperia Z.             And today we hear that the Sony C650X ‘Odin’ which is expected to pack in similar specs as that of the Yuga will be released as the Sony Xperia X. It is being rumored that the Sony Xperia X will be the international variant of the Xperia Z and the latter is said to be region specific. Also, the Odin will arrive with a different design in comparison to the Xperia Z and it is as follows: Odin is thicker and heavier than Yuga (Xperia Z). The back of the handset will have a textured (or even striped pattern) similar to the Sony Xperia Edual. A small cover on the back of the handset will allow you to hot swap the microSDmemory card and SIM card.
