Indian handset maker Lava International has launched Iris 455 and Iris 405 smartphones in the country. Priced at Rs. 8,699, Lava Iris 455 sports a 4.5-inch 540x960 pixels capacitive display and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Lava Iris 455 is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB of RAM. The smartphone packs in 4GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by another 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Lava Iris 455 is a is a dual-SIM dual-GSM standby phone that comes with a 1,500 mAh battery that the company claims offers up to 6 hours of 3G talk time. Lava recently launched the IRIS 454 and IRIS 502 Android smartphones last month. Now thecompany's website has listed the Iris 430 as the latest addition to this series. There is no official word from the company on this device but considering its already surfaced, we'd assume the details should be out soon. The specs on the site reveal that the IRIS 430 sports a 4.3-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) capacitive display and runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich that is layered with the TouchWiz UI. It is said to feature a 5-megapixel rear auto focus camera with LED flash and has a VGA front camera on-board as well. Internally, the device is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM. First up is the Lava IRIS 454, which comes with a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It is a dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) smartphone. Lava IRIS 454 comes with 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM. The internal storage available on the device is 2GB and can be further expanded through a microSD card. For camera, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. Lava IRIS 454 comes with a 1,650mAh battery.
