The Indian smartphone maker Lava has launched two new smartphones under its IRIS range. First up is the Lava IRIS 454, which comes with a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It is a dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) smartphone. Lava IRIS 454 comes with 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM. The internal storage available on the device is 2GB and can be further expanded through a microSD card. For camera, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. Lava IRIS 454 comes with a 1,650mAh battery. The other smartphone that has been launched is Lava IRIS 502. The smartphone features 5.0-inch capacitive touchscreen with a display of 480x800 pixels. It runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
