With the launch of its New Funbook P600, Micromaxaims to diversify its domain. The tablet, which is their new addition to the Funbook series, is a standard seven inchAndroid tablet. Powered by 1 GHz of dual core Qualcomm MSM8225A ARM Cortex A5, the Funbook P600 has a 512 MB RAM and 2 GB internal storage. The Funbook P600 is equipped with two cameras, a front and rear, the rear camera is a 2 megapixel camera. This 3G enabled tab, supports voice calling and video calls using the camera in front. Wammy Magnus is a new 10.1-inch Android Tablet to be available in the Indian market for Rs. 15,499. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. The tablet has a 10.1-inch full-HD (1280X800 pixels) screen. Currently, the tablet is running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, but the company plans to roll out an upgrade to Android 4.2 in due course of time. The tablet's front is white in colour and silver at the back, which is a slightly different combination to what we have seen for the recent tablets. For camera, there is a 2-megapixel autofocus rear camera and 0.3-megapixel front one. Wammy Magnus supports Wi-Fi, Mini-USB port, Mini HDMI, microSD card slot and also 3G via dongle. A lthough Spice had launched its first tablet, the MiTab as early as September 2011, it wasn't really able to get a foothold in the highly crowded Android tablets market, dominated by players like Micromax, Zync and Karbonn, amongst others. The company's sort of made a comeback with a new 10-inch tablet, which it calls, the Spice Stellar Pad (Mi-1010). The tablet with impressive specs has been priced well at Rs. 12,999 and runs Jelly Bean, the latest iteration of Android. We've been playing with the device and here's our take on the mid-economy tablet.
