The Indian handset makers seem to be on a frenzy to launch smartphones. Intex Mobiles too does not want to be left out and has quietly listed two of its forthcoming smartphones Intex Aqua SX and Aqua Star on its website. Intex Aqua SX comes with 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with 320x480 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz MediaTek MTK6515 processor along with 256Mb of RAM. The smartphone comes with 128MB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 32GB via microSD card. This is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread). Priced at Rs. 4,490, Intex Aqua SX comes with 5-megapixel rear camera and 0.3-megapixel front camera. There is a 1450mAh battery on-board, that as per the company will give 5 hours of talktime and 360 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include EDGE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
