L ava Iris 351, a low-cost Android smartphone has made an appearance on online retail websites, includingFlipkart andSaholic. Available for a price of Rs. 3,899, the dual-SIM (GSM) smartphone is powered by a 1GHz processor, and comes with 256 MB of RAM on board. The phone runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. Lava has not officially launched the phone, though. The Iris 351 sports a 3.5-inch touchscreen which has a resolution of 320X480 pixels, and also features a 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera. While the phone's internal memory is limited to 110MB, it does offer an SD Card slot, and the sales package includes a 4GB SD card. It supports memory cards of upto 16GB. The Lava Iris 351 doesn't offer support for 3G data but can connect to the Internet via GPRS/Edge. The handset also offers FM radio and FM radio recording.
