Samsung Galaxy Young officially launched for Rs. 8,010

After the launch of Galaxy Star last week, Samsung has launched yet another budget Android smartphone - Samsung Galaxy Young. The phone that was announced in February, has been available on online retailers for a while now. However, it is now officially available on the Samsung e-store for Rs. 8,010. The dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a 1GHz processor and has 728 MB RAM. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and sports a 3-megapixel camera. With a 3.27-inch display, it is slightly bigger than the Galaxy Star and has a resolution of 320x480 pixels. It comes with 4GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 64GB and has a 1,300mAh battery. The device comes with the Samsung TouchWiz UI. It supports the Samsung Motion UI and comes pre loaded with Samsung applications such as ChatOn, S Cloud and Game Hub Lite. Samsung Galaxy Star listed online for Rs. 4,990

Samsung's entry-level Android smartphone, the Galaxy Star (S5282) has been listed on e-commerce websites for Rs. 4,990. The phone is available on leading Indian e-commerce sites including Flipkart. However, the Samsung India Online store has still not put a price with its own listing. We had earlier reported that the phone has been listed on the Samsung India Online store. The Samsung Galaxy Star duos sports a 3.0-inch screen with QVGA resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz processor along with 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of internal storage and a microSD slot that supports cards up to 32GB. The smartphone runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) along with Samsung's own touch-wiz nature UX interface. Samsung Galaxy S II Plus surfaces online for Rs. 22,900

Samsung seems to gearing up to launch Samsung Galaxy S II Plus in India. The smartphone is already listed on Infibeam.com for Rs. 22,900. The website is also claiming to ship the device within seven business days. Samsung Galaxy S II Plus sports a 4.3-inch WVGA (480x800) Super AMOLED Plus display as seen in the earlier Galaxy S II. Looks wise, the exterior of the device has been replaced with the plasticky back panel as seen on the Galaxy S III. Samsung Galaxy S II Plus runs Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box along with layer of Nature UX atop. The device features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and capable of full-HD video recording. There's a 2-megapixel front camera as well. Samsung Galaxy Note III to come with 5.9-inch screen: Report

Samsung Galaxy Note II successor has been making quite a buzz recently. It was being speculated that Samsung Galaxy Note III may come with a 5.9-inch screen. Now, GSMArena via Korea Times is reporting that this is indeed confirmed news. Korea Times mentions that they have picked this information up from Samsung's main parts suppliers. Furthermore, the report also states that the Samsung Galaxy Note III will be launched in US through telecom operator AT&T in the near future. As per earlier rumours, Samsung Galaxy Note III will be launched at IFA 2013. IFA 2013 will be organised between 6 to 11 September in Berlin (Germany). Samsung to introduce Galaxy Pocket Neo by May: Report

Samsung is gearing up to launch another affordable Galaxy smartphone - Galaxy Pocket Neo. As per news report in SamMobile, this smartphone will be an entry-level Android smartphone much like the Samsung Galaxy Fame and Galaxy Young. The website also claims that this smartphone will come in two variants, a single SIM version, which will bear the model number GT-S5310 and the DUOS variant, which will be model number GT-S5312. Furthermore, SamMobile states that Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo will have a 3.0-inch screen with QVGA resolution. The expected dimensions of this smartphone are 104.95 X 57.8 X11.8mm. The other alleged specifications for the smartphone include 2-megapixel rear camera, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and A-GPS. Samsung sold more than 10 million Galaxy devices in the Indian market

Korean company Samsung Electronics said on Thursday that it has sold more than 10 million Galaxy devices in the Indian market since the launch of the first Galaxy device, ‘Galaxy S’, in June 2010. “Innovative devices like the Samsung Galaxy S, Galaxy S II and S III, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Y have caught the imagination of customers and helped us democratise the smartphoneexperience in the Indian market,” says Samsung VP (Mobile) Asim Warsi. This has helped Samsung sell more than 10 million Galaxy devices in the Indian market since June 2010, when the first Galaxy device was launched, he added. Rumour: Samsung Working On Android 4.1 GALAXY Premier

The Jelly Bean handset might feature a 4.6" screen, 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU, and an 8 mp camera.   Samsung  has sold millions of smartphones, but it still doesn't seem to have hired an actual team of designers.  The  GALAXY S Duos  borrowed its design from the   GALAXY S III (GS3) ,  and  the GALAXY S III Mini  looks no different either.
