According to Pocket-Lint, HTC M7's camera will ditch megapixels and will have something that the company dubs as "ultrapixels." It was earlier rumoured that M7 will come aboard with a 13-megapixel rear shooter. However, Pocket-Lint claims that this smartphone will feature a camera that will be made up of three 4.3-megapixel sensor layers, which will be combined to give a resulting single image. It is expected that the pictures clicked through this camera would be crisper, cleaner and have a better colour accuracy. This technique is also adopted by Sigma in the Foveon X3 sensor. In 2012, we had seen Nokia experiment with their camera sensor on Nokia 808 PureView smartphone and the result was 41-megapixel monster. It is expected that Nokia will be launching Lumia smartphones with a similar lenssometime this year. ...
