Maxx Mobile launches AX8 Race and AX9Z Race smartphones

Maxx Mobile has launched two Android smartphones, the AX8 Race and AX9Z Race for Rs. 8,875 and Rs. 12,375, respectively. The Maxx AX8 Race is a dual-SIM (3G+GSM) smartphone that features a 5-inch capacitive touch display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1GHz single-core MediaTek Processor and has 512MB RAM. It offers 4GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The phone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.The phone features 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity options in addition to FM radio. It has a 2300mAh battery. Xolo Q1000 with quad-core processor, 5-inch display to be launched for Rs.14,999

I t looks like Xolo is about to launch a new smartphone, the Q1000 which is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor. While the company has not announced the phone officially, it's already listed on e-commerce website,Flipkart. The pricing of the phone has not been revealed yet and the phone is not available for purchase at the time of writing this post but NDTV Gadgets has learned from sources that it will be priced at Rs. 14,999. According to the listing, the Xolo Q1000 features a 5-inch IPS display that has a resolution of 720x1280 pixels with a pixel density of 295ppi. The screen is made of scratch resistant Dragon Trail glass. The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) phone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It has 1GB of RAM and PowerVR SGX544 graphics processor. Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus with 5.0-inch display, quad-core processor launched for Rs. 12,100

Micromax has officially listed the successor to its Canvas 2 phone, the Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus, on its website for Rs. 12,100. While the phone retains the same form factor as that of the A110 Canvas 2, it gets an upgraded 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The Canvas 2 was powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. The RAM on the phone has also been upgraded to 1GB. The Canvas 2 Plus runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the latest iteration of the OS. The Canvas 2 ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Idea launches ID 920, Aurus III smartphones

Idea has launched two new 3G-enabled smartphones, Idea ID 920 and Idea Aurus III for Rs. 4,950 and Rs. 6,990 respectively. The Idea ID 920 is an entry-level dual-SIM Android 3G Smartphone, targeted at first time data users in semi-urban markets. It's powered by a 1GHz processor, has 256MB RAM and sports a 3.5-inch capacitive touch display that has a resolution of 320x480 pixels. The phone runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which is an old version of the OS.  It features a 2-megapixel rear camera and offers internal storage capacity of 512MB expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. A 2GB memory card is bundled with it. The phone comes with a 1400mAh battery. Spice has launched a new dual-SIM Android smartphone, Stellar Horizon Pro Mi-505, at a price point of Rs. 8,499. The Horizon Pro Mi-505 features a 5.0-inch screen that has a resolution of 480x800 pixels (WVGA) and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and has 512MB of RAM. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with dual LED Flash and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera. The phone has 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded to 32GB through a microSD card. Talking about connectivity options, the phone supports Wi-Fi, 3G (for both SIM card slots) and Bluetooth 4.0. Xolo X910 with Intel processor, 4.3-inch screen spotted online

A new Intel powered Xolo phone has been spotted online on e-commerce portal Flipkart complete with images and specifications. The listing does not have any information related to pricing and availability except that the phone is expected to be available soon. According to the listing, the dual-SIM smartphone will be powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor and have a 400MHz graphics processor, along with 1GB of RAM. The phone will feature a 4.3-inch qHD IPS display sporting a resolution of 540x960 pixels.  However, the X910 will run Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. Xolo Q700 with quad-core processor, Android 4.2 and unique multi-profiles launched for Rs. 9,999

Xolo has launched its Q700 smartphone in India for Rs. 9,999. We had reported a week back that Xolo is planning to launch this smartphone, and true to the word, this smartphone is now official. Xolo X500 Review

Lava International introduced the first device in the Xolo series in April 2012 with the launch of the Xolo X900. This was the first smartphone in the World to come with an Intel Medfield processor. However, the Rs. 22,000 price tag acted as a barrier, and the phone, even after getting a price cut and the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update, did not do that well. Intel recently unveiled the Intel Atom Lexington Z2420 chipset at CES 2013, paving the way for low cost phones powered by its mobile platform. The Xolo X500 is one of the first devices to feature this processor. The pricing at Rs. 8,999, is the icing on the cake.
