Micromax has officially listed the successor to its Canvas 2 phone, the Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus, on its website for Rs. 12,100. While the phone retains the same form factor as that of the A110 Canvas 2, it gets an upgraded 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The Canvas 2 was powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. The RAM on the phone has also been upgraded to 1GB. The Canvas 2 Plus runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the latest iteration of the OS. The Canvas 2 ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone features the same 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels.It features an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and autofocus and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. The Canvas 2 featured a VGA front facing camera. The A110Q Canvas 2 Plus offers 4GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
