A part from announcing the Galaxy Young, Samsung has also taken wraps off of another mid segment device. Sporting similar looks to the Galaxy Young, the Galaxy Fame has slightly better specs in comparison. Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean skinned with Samsung's TouchWiz UI atop, the Galaxy Fame is a little thinner at 113.2x61.6x11.6 mm, but also heavier at 120.6 grams. This device also flaunts a bigger 3.5-inch display with an HVGA resolution (320x480). The smartphone comes with an upgraded 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera as well in comparison to its younger sibling. Under the hood, though the 1GHz processor is the same as the Galaxy Young, the RAM seems to have been lowered to 512MB. Internal storage is 4GB with up to 64GB of expansion.
