Panasonic has launched a new Android smartphone, the Panasonic P51, in the Indian market at a price point of Rs. 26,900. The phone is the first in a series of phones that Panasonic will be launching in the coming months. Panasonic P51 features a unibody design and comes with a 5-inch IPS display that sports a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The screen of the phone is made of Asahi Dragon Trail Glass and has an Oleophobic coating to prevent smudges. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the latest iteration of the operating system and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with auto focus and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera which is capable of recording 720p video. The Panasonic P51 has 1GB of RAM and 4GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It has a 2500mAh battery and comes with a stylus and a magnetic flip cover.
