BlackBerry Z10 to launch in India on February 25

BlackBerry is all set to launch its flagship smartphone in India on February 25, 2013. The company has already sent out teaser invites for an event at Mumbai. As per earlier reports BlackBerry was slated to announce this smartphone in India on February 24, 2012 and the indicative pricing for Z10 is being speculated around Rs. 39,000. It is expected that this smartphone will start retailing in India soon after the launch in both black and white colour options. For consumers, who are still unaware of BlackBerry Z10, it is a full-touch device that comes with a 4.2-inch LCD screen with a 1280x768 resolution. It runs on the new BlackBerry 10 operating system and is powered by a dual-core processor that clocks at 1.5GHz alongside 2GB of RAM. The internal storage available on the smartphone is 16GB. BlackBerry Z10 India launch likely on Feb 24 for Rs.39,000: Report

B lackBerry had launched its Z10 smartphone at a gala event in New York on January 30. The smartphone is already available in some of the markets including United Kingdom and Canada and according to some news reports the smartphone is getting a good response in these markets. The Canadian smartphone maker has already indicated that India and Indonesia are its two key emerging markets and it is expected that their latest flagship device will be available in these markets soon. If reports in FoneAreana are to be believed, the company will be launching Z10 in India on February 24 and the device will carry the price tag of Rs. 39,000. BlackBerry Z10 without a contract is available in United Kingdom for 480 pounds and will be available in UAE for AED 2,599, which roughly translates to approximately Rs. 39,000. BlackBerry Z10 specs leak again

W ith the launch of BlackBerry 10 just a month away, we have already seen the images of the firstsmartphone, which is reported to be called Z10. BBin is reporting that the Z10 will have a TI OMAP 4470 dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, a 4.2-inch display with a resolution of 1280×768 pixels, 2GB of RAM, 16GB and 32GB memory options, a 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 1,800 mAh battery. Notably, the US variant of the device is expected to dump the Texas Instruments chipset in favor of the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chip to get LTE conectivity. It will be the same one as the one we are seeing in the current crop of Windows Phone 8 smartphones like the Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC Windows Phone 8X. Other frills expected in the Z10 include, NFC, micro-HDMI connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, micro-USB and Bluetooth 4.0. RIM will unveil BlackBerry 10 along with the new smartphone at a global launch event on January 30.

BlackBerry 10 keyboard also arrives with a feature called “Space Inference”

Research in Motion (RIM), the maker of the BlackBerry smartphones is betting a lot on its upcomingBlackBerry 10 OS. And the first smartphone that the Canadian giant is launching, will be a fulltouchscreen BlackBerry 10 L-Series (London).                 Ironically BlackBerry smartphones are known for their physical QWERTY keyboard and RIM had made it a point that users who switch to the full touch L-Series do not miss it. RIM’s Vivek Bhardwaj, who is the Head of Software Portfolio has in a video showcased how the company has designed the touch keyboard to look and feel like that of the physical keyboard. The keys are maximized edged-to-edged so that users can easily type. The BlackBerry 10 keyboard also arrives with a feature called “Space Inference” which automatically detects if the user somehow while typing fast, forgot to include space between and words and thus will automatically insert in at the end of the sentence. ...

BlackBerry 10 L-Series Full image of the textured back panel appears

It has just been a couple of days when we saw Research in Motion teasing its upcoming BlackBerry 10 L-series smartphone over the official BlackBerry 10 page. We noticed that the smartphone is to arrive with a textured back panel which was not yet seen on the Dev Alpha smartphones and also the various leaks. And today we get to see the back panel with the textured back in high resolution as you can see above. The image matches the one posted by RIM on the official BlackBerry 10 page as the camera and the flash placement go on to be the same. The smartphone looks great even though we cannot see the face of the device. This image was found lying in the latest BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha OS 10.0.9.1675 and was uncovered by Twitter user @MujibAzizi. Along with the picture, a first run video has also been found in the update which will go on to act as a tutorial for the first time BlackBerry 10 users. You can catch the video embedded below.

BlackBerry 10 L-Series smartphone Official Pictures leak Online

E arlier today, we went on to see the textured back panel of the BlackBerry 10 L-Series smartphone in itsfull glory and if it was not enough, a series of high-resolution pictures have appeared online, courtesy Tinhte.vn. The L-Series smartphone in the pictures seems to be posing with the final design which is expected to be officially unveiled on January 30th, 2013. This is guessed by the fact that the back panel of the smartphone is textured. The L-Series does go on to bear resemblance to the BlackBerry London which went on to leak long time ago. The pictures go on to confirm that the L-Series will arrive with a removable 1800 mAh battery. We can clearly see the presence of the NFC antenna beneath the cover. The power button is situated on the top of the smartphone alongside the 3.5mm headphone jack while the microphone is located under the BlackBerry logo at the bottom of the device.
