A post on the Xperia blog confirms that the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean firmware update for Sony Xperia T users is finally here, adding that the development is here just a day after it reached the PTCRB site. The post adds, "The firmware is the same that was certified i.e. version number 9.1.A.0.489 and runs on the 3.4.0 kernel." Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy S III had started rolling out in India. After the roll-out began, it was reported that many users who got the upgrade faced some issues with the new OS and so Samsung went on to halt the roll-out.
