Samsung GALAXY Note 3 Pegged At Whopping Rs 50,000

Successor to the insanely-popular GALAXY Note II has finally landed in India. It packs in 5.7" full-HD AMOLED screen. Similarly, Samsung has thrown in some impressive numbers when it comes to processing power. The phone is powered by an octa-core Exynos chipset (A15 1.9 GHz + A7 1.3 GHz). Now that’s a lot of power for a smartphone. You can expect smooth multitasking with 3 GB of RAM. The 13 megapixel camera can record full-HD (1080p) clips at 30 fps. The snapper is also said to feature Smart Stabilisation, but at this moment we're not sure whether it’s a hardware-based feature as seen in the Nokia camera phones with the PureView branding.

On the software front, the phone will ship with Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Samsung also claims to have improved its S Pen functionality. The new feature called Air Command gives quick access to Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Write, S Finder, and Pen Window.

While the Note 3 may not look different than its predecessor, it’s said to offer a leather-like material on its back. Samsung GALAXY Note 3 will be available in Jet Black, Classic White, and Blush Pink. The Samsung GALAXY Note 3 will hit the stores on the 25th September with a price tag of Rs 50,000. That’s 7k more than the Apple iPhone 5 (16 GB).
