Microsoft has launched two new feature phones called the Nokia 222 and Nokia 222 Dual SIM. Both phones run Nokia’s Series 30+ OS platform, and come with almost similar specs. Both come with large keypads, micro-SIM slots, built-in MP3 player and FM Radio.
The Nokia 222 and 222 Dual SIM phones offer 2.4-inch QVGA displays, resulting into pixel densities of 166ppi. They come with 2-megapixel rear cameras, flashlights, microSD card support up to 32GB, Bluetooth 3.0, micro-USB, GPRS, and 3.5mm audio jacks. The phone are powered by 1,100mAh batteries, which claim to offer 20 hours of talk time and 21 days of standby time with 2G networks,
The Nokia 222 and 222 Dual SIM models will be available in glossy black and white variants. They both support Slam technology, which allows sending files with other Slam-enabled devices. The handsets also come pre-loaded with Skype, Facebook, Messenger, and Twitter apps. These will be available in select markets in September at the starting price tag of around Rs 2,400.
