BLU Win JR LTE and Win HD LTE with Windows Phone 8.1 launched in India for Rs. 5999 and Rs. 7999

BLU has launched Win JR LTE and Win HD LTE Windows 8.1 smartphones on Snapdeal in India. Both these are powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC. The Win JR LTE has a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS screen and the Win HD LTE has a 5-inch HD screen based on one-glass-solution (OGS) technology. Both these have dual SIM support with support for 4G TDD LTE Bands 38 and 40 and FDD-LTE bands 3,7 and 20. Philips Xenium I908, Xenium S309 Android Smartphones Launched in India

Philips on Tuesday launched two Android-based smartphones in India, dubbed Xenium I908 and Xenium S309, priced at Rs. 11,799 and Rs. 4,999 respectively. While both the smartphones are new in the market, the Xenium I908 has been listed on the company website since December last year. The Philips Xenium I908 (seen above) is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) handset that features a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 441ppi. The Android 4.4.2 KitKat-based smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core (unspecified chipset) processor alongside 2GB of RAM. It sports 16GB inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD, card (up to 32GB). The device features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with CMOS sensor, f/2.2 aperture, and LED flash, while also housing a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an 88-degree wide-angle lens for selfies. LG G4 and G4 Stylus Prices Slashed in India

LG has slashed the price of both the LG G4 and LG G4 Stylus smartphones in India, ahead of the festive season. The flagship G4, which was launched in India in June with a price tag of Rs. 51,000, would now be available at Rs. 45,000 for Leather Back variant and Rs. 40,000 for Ceramic White variant. The G4 Stylus, which arrived at Rs. 24,990 last month, will now cost Rs. 21,000. “This festive season we wanted to give consumers something to cheer about. Videocon as part of expanding its offerings in budget tablet segment has launched the VT85C at Rs. 8,999. The Videocon VT85C runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and supports voice-calling with SIM card. It comes with a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. The tablet is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor (unspecified chipset) with GC 1000 GPU. Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 and Yoga Tablet 10 Android tablets launched in India

Lenovo has introduced two new Android tablets, the Yoga Tablet 8 (8-inch) and Yoga Tablet 10 (10-inch), priced at Rs. 22,999 and Rs. 28,999 respectively. It's worth pointing out that Lenovo has only released the 16GB Wi-Fi + 3G variants of the Yoga tablets for the Indian market. The 32GB and Wi-Fi only variants will not be introduced for now. The tablets will be available from major retailers across the country, as well as the company's own dostore.com. Both the Lenovo Yoga tablets were first unveiled in October this year in US. iBall has introduced a new budget smartphone in India, called the Andi 4.5z, at Rs. 7,499. Though, the company notes that Rs. 7,499 is the best buy price, while the MRP of the smartphone is Rs. 8,299. The iBall Andi 4.5z will be available in two colours - Classy Black and Serene White.
