will be seen flooding the markets in the country.
Samsung Galaxy S Express
Samsung and their
Galaxies are literally taking over the world! The recent flagship device from
the company, the Galaxy S III has recently outsold the long time sales leader
in the iPhone. But Samsung is well aware that flagship devices at the top end
of the market place are not for everyone and has continuously made devices that
fit perfect in the mid and low end of the spectrum. Recently Samsung has
launched devices like the Galaxy Appeal and now the Galaxy Express. The Samsung Galaxy Express is
the latest Galaxy that is in the Milky Way when it comes to pricing and aimed
at mid range end user.
The Samsung Galaxy S
Express is a new At&t 4G LTE enabled Android device that offers up some
pretty awesome features at a rather affordable price tag. It starts with the
likes of Android version 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich. It comes with a 4.5 inch
Super AMOLED Plus touch screen, which coincidently is quite impressive for a
mid tier device. Internally this awesome new smart phone runs with a more than
capable 1.5 GHz dual core processor and an all day 2000 mAh battery. Around
back of the Express resides a 5 mega pixel camera with all kinds of tricks up
its sleeve as well as a front facing shooter for all your self portrait and
video calling needs. The Galaxy Express also includes all the best in S!
Including Samsung’s wireless content sharing service S Beam. The device is
slated for release 30th Nov.
Galaxy Premier I9260
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Premier I9260 smart
phone has been appearing all over the Internet lately, with images cropping up
showing off a Galaxy S III-like design and hinting at soon-to-be-announced
availability. As it were, that time has come, with Samsung officially
announcing the LTE handset, and the Ukraine being one of the first
places it will land.
The Samsung Premier I9260 features a 4.65-inch
AMOLED display with resolution of 720 x 1280. Inside you’ll find a dual-core
1.5GHz TI OMAP 4470 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8 or 16GB of internal storage
space, depending on model. There’s a microSD card slot that supports expansion
up to 32GB. There are two cameras, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a
1.9-megapixel front camera. The device supports LTE and has a 2,100mAh battery.
The Premier will offer some of the features only
previously available in the Galaxy S III, including Best Photo, Smart Stay,
Direct Call, Pop-Up Play, S Voice, and S Beam. The device runs Android Jelly
Bean. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi HT40 and 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS,
and GLONASS. The device is slated for release 30th Nov.
Samsung Comment 2 mobile phone
Cricket Communications has announced a new
mobile phone from Samsung that has a physical QWERTY keyboard. The smart phone
is called the Samsung Comment 2 and is described as a speedy messaging phone
with cool features at a great price. The phone visually looks like a BlackBerry
with little phone keyboard underneath the smallish screen.
The screen is 2.4-inches, and the phone uses a
processor that runs at 480 MHz. The phone has integrated web browser for
surfing the web and a two-megapixel rear camera. The phone has a microSD card
slot for storage and an integrated media player.
The mobile phone also has integrated Bluetooth
that supports streaming audio and 3.5 mm headphone jack. The mobile phone also
comes preloaded with Cricket Services, including MyHomeScreen, Cricket
Navigator, Cricket 411, My Backup, Cricket Storefront, and others. The phone
also supports the Commercial Mobile Alert System to send emergency alerts to
mobile devices.
The phone carries an MSRP of $89.99 and is
available at company-owned stores. The phone supports one of the two Crickets
monthly service plans, including the $35 monthly Cricket Basic rate plan with
unlimited talk and text. It also qualifies for the Cricket Value rate plan at
$45 monthly offering unlimited talk, text, and mobile web. The device is slated for release 25th Dec.
Samsung unveils Galaxy Music Android smart phone
Samsung has unveiled a
new smart phone that runs Android 4.0 called the Galaxy Music. Samsung says that the mobile phone has a dedicated music key
that provides fast access to the music player with a single press. The mobile
phone operates on HSDPA, HSUPA (900/2100 MHZ) and EDGE/GPRS (850/900/1800/1900
MHZ) networks.
The specifications show a three-inch QVGA
resolution TFT display, and a three megapixel fixed focus rear camera with no
flash. That’s a very small screen by today standards with low resolution
indicating that this device is probably going to be inexpensive and aimed at
entry-level smart phone users. The phone does support video playback and can
record video at WVGA resolution. The device is slated for release 30th Nov.
It has a 3.5 mm headphone port and supports
multiple audio formats. The smart phone has an integrated FM tuner with RDS
technology and uses the Samsung Touch wiz user interface. Since the smart phone
runs Android, it has access to Google Mobile services including the Google Play
store, Gmail, and others.
The Galaxy Music has integrated GPS, integrated
speakers, and Bluetooth 3.0 technology. It also has integrated Wi-Fi, WI-Fi
Direct support, and has an accelerometer, digital compass, and proximity
sensor. Internal storage is 4 GB with 512 MB of RAM. A microSD slot is
available supporting up to 32 GB of additional storage space. We’re taking
these specifications with a grain of salt. It appears that Samsung copied these
over from the Galaxy Beam because the spec sheet lists a nine-lumen integrated
projector that is obviously not on this device. If one specification is wrong,
others could be as well.
Samsung Rugby Smart Phone
Newest Samsung smart
phone, and it’s not a dual-core device, a quad-core device, or even a massively
impressive in-between device with the ability to take amazing photos – it’s a
rugged mid-range device called the Samsung Rugby Smart. This device is a solid and relatively inexpensive smart
phone being carried by AT&T at $99.99 on contract with the ability to
defend against water, dust, shock, and inclement temperatures. It’s also got at
3.7-inch WVGA Super AMOLED touch screen display up front and a 5 megapixel
camera on the back.
Inside you’ve got Android 2.3 Gingerbread with
Samsung’s newest version of Touch Wiz on top. This isn’t the newest in that
it’s prepared for Ice Cream Sandwich, but is the newest version created for the
slightly older Gingerbread version of Android. It’s relatively slick, makes a
lot of sense when you’ve got it set up against the rest of the
manufacturer-created user interfaces out there today sitting on top of Android.
This is the same user interface sitting on top of the Galaxy S II line and its
very user friendly. The device is slated for release 30th Nov
Samsung ATIV S
Samsung’s built an
impressive smart phone running Windows Phone 8 — and has equipped it with some
top tier specs. The screen is bigger than the new Lumia 920, as well as the
Windows Phone 8X by HTC “signature handset” of WP8. Here’s the full rundown on
this sleek all aluminum smart phone.
The Samsung ATIV S comes with a bright and crisp
4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, and is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core
Snapdragon S4 processor by Qualcomm. You’ll get 1GB of RAM (vs. 2GB on the
Galaxy S III) 16 or 32GB of storage based on carriers, an 8 megapixel rear
camera, and 1.3 front shooter for Skype video chat. Under the hood Samsung’s
equipped this 4.8-inch beast with a large 2,300 mAh hour battery (compared to
the HTC 8X’s 1,800) and it will rock the usual 4G LTE radios where available,
WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and more.
The Samsung ATIV S will
be available in one color that being the gorgeous and durable brushed aluminum
silver shown here, and is protected with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 2 on the front
face. The brand new Samsung ATIV S takes some subtle hints from the Galaxy S
III, right down to the menu and back buttons neatly placed around the physical
home (or start in this case) button in the middle. The entire device is
actually just barely bigger than the HTC 8X in size, a little thinner, and
