Android 4.4 KitKat: Top 10 new features

Google has finally released Android 4.4 KitKat , the newest iteration of its mobile OS, after days of speculation surrounding its launch. The KitKat update to the Android OS brings some visual changes, including more immersive graphics, as well as deeper integration with Google's intelligent assistant, Google Now, among other changes and improvements. Videocon VT85C voice-calling Android 4.2 tablet launched at Rs. 8,999

Videocon as part of expanding its offerings in budget tablet segment has launched the VT85C at Rs. 8,999. The Videocon VT85C runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and supports voice-calling with SIM card. It comes with a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. The tablet is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor (unspecified chipset) with GC 1000 GPU. The Videocon VT85C sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and includes a VGA front-facing camera. There is 1GB of RAM onboard, and the VT85C includes 4GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The tablet offers Wi-Fi, GPS, AGPS, micro-USB and 3G (SIM only) connectivity options. The tablet packs 3000mAh battery. Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 and Yoga Tablet 10 Android tablets launched in India

Lenovo has introduced two new Android tablets, the Yoga Tablet 8 (8-inch) and Yoga Tablet 10 (10-inch), priced at Rs. 22,999 and Rs. 28,999 respectively. It's worth pointing out that Lenovo has only released the 16GB Wi-Fi + 3G variants of the Yoga tablets for the Indian market. The 32GB and Wi-Fi only variants will not be introduced for now. The tablets will be available from major retailers across the country, as well as the company's own dostore.com. Both the Lenovo Yoga tablets were first unveiled in October this year in US. The Yoga Tablet 8 and Tablet 10 feature Lenovo's multimode design, offering three modes to work - hold, tilt and stand. The tablets also feature cylindrical handles at one end for gripping. iBall Andi 4.5z dual-core Android 4.2 smartphone launched at Rs. 7,499

iBall has introduced a new budget smartphone in India, called the Andi 4.5z, at Rs. 7,499. Though, the company notes that Rs. 7,499 is the best buy price, while the MRP of the smartphone is Rs. 8,299. The iBall Andi 4.5z will be available in two colours - Classy Black and Serene White. The smartphone is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor (unspecified chipset) along with 512MB of RAM. It features a 4.5-inch qHD (540x960) IPS display. There is an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and also houses a VGA front-facing camera. The smartphone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. LG G Flex curved display smartphone's Korea pricing announced

LG has announced the pricing of its first curved display smartphone for the Korean market, the LG G Flex. The South Korean giant stated in a press note that the LG G Flex will be available in Korea starting November 12 and would come at 999,900 Korean Won, which translates to roughly Rs. 59,000. In addition, the company also revealed its plan to release LG G Flex for France via mobile carrier, Orange, next month. However, no pricing details have been announced for France.
